Ebay & Boots Haul!

So I've been a bit naughty again and have a little haul for you. Here's the goodies that I purchased:

I love this little Hamsa hand bracelet which I got for a steal from ebay. I bought it from THIS seller and you can choose from a variety of string designs. It was only £1 :)

I also picked up my very own Links Of London Skull Friendship bracelet. This was from a one off seller.

Here's what they look like on! :)

I also bought this cute little skull bracelet from Freckles in the Sun. You can find it HERE.

I've been popping into my local boots for weeks trying to find the Youtube guru Pixiwoo's Real Techniques makeup brushes and today they finally had them in. I picked up the stippling brush. You can find the whole collection online HERE.

While I was in Boots I saw that they had a 2 for £10 Revlon lip and nail offer on so I picked up two more of the ColourStay Ultimate Liquid Lipsticks. I got the shades 050 Top Tomato and 075 Nude.

Here's what they look like on. This is Nude:

And this is Top Tomato.

The nude one applies okay. I never like the application of these lipsticks but they last for hours and hours so I ignore that gripe about them... but I found Top Tomato to be even more tricky than normal to apply but I do like the colour. They are both very dry and sticky when they are applied but with a swipe of lipbalm over the top they are just peachy.

I also got from ebay 24 nailvarnish art pens but I forgot to take a picture. I bought them from THIS seller though. The boyf was victim to my first practice with them...
Sorry about the blurry picture!

:)

A quick trim and another new piercing!

So I went to the hairdressers today for a quick hair cut. I originally was going to go and get my hair coloured but decided against it at the last minute so just went to have it neatened up with a few more layers. I'm in the process of growing it out so there's not much difference!

Before:

After:

My hairdresser tried with all his might for about half an hour of blowdrying, different products, scrunching and all sorts to try and get some body and oomphy waves into my hair but this is what it ended up like. My hair is impossible to make wavy! :(

While I was in town I psyched myself up to go and get another piercing. I've never had one done on my own as my boyf is always there to hold my hand when I've been in the past but I decided to be brave and go by myself. I went in and my piercer was free to do my tragus so he brought me in straight away so I was buzzing, he put some cream on my ear and then told me to go and wait for an hour for it to sink in! I'd just psyched myself up for nothing and had an hour to stew on the fact that I was going to get a needle shoved in my ear. Regardless, I waited and came back, very nervous...but I literally didn't feel a thing. The least painful piercing I've ever had, not even a word of a lie. Yay!

Reptile fun!

For a litttle trip out, the Other Half and I decided to pop down to local excotic pet shop The Reptile Room. Here are a few pics of the beauties (well, some!) we found inside!

How exciting!

This little cutie was about as big as my pinky finger and was definitely posing for the camera.

This guy was HUGE. Nearly as big as me, not even gonna lie.

Crocadiddly!

This guy was working the camera. Showing me his moves!

What a cutie!

...and then I looked down.... EEK!

Feed me, Seymore!

What a treasure trove! The shop was so deceivingly small from the front but working our way through the different rooms revealed hundreds of different reptiles. Definitely worth a look if you're around the area or interested in reptiles and other exotic animals!

How to: Make an awesome dessert in ten easy steps! Rocky Road style!

Nigella Lawson's Rocky Road
AKA
Neen and Dan's Ultimate Death by Chocolate Dessert!
WARNING: NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED! EAT AT YOUR OWN PERIL!

Here's how to make it in ten easy steps!

Step one: Gather your ingredients!
You need:
(According to Nigella...)
125g of unsalted butter
300g of chocolate
3tbsp of golden syrup
200g of rich tea biscuits
100g of mini marshmallows
(Give or take! we used more chocolate and fewer biscuits. It's not too important! We also added chocolate chips and chocolate balls for decoration.)

To see the original, proper recipe click HERE!

Step two:
Get a heavy bottom saucepan and put it on a low heat with your butter, chocolate and syrup in. Break your chocolate up so it melts faster.

Remember to stir!

Step three: Test the chocolate. It's a must.

Step four: Get a freezer bag and bung your biscuits inside.

Enlist the help of a big strong bloke and a heavy duty rolling pin.

Bash the buggers to smithereens!

Step five: Set aside half of your melted chocolate/syrup/butter mixture for later.

Get your marshmallows and biscuits at the ready...

...and whack them into the mix.

Yum yum! Give it a good stir.

Step six: Place a cheeky bid on ebay.

Step seven: Pour your mixture into a large flat dish.

We added chocolate chips on top.

Pour the mixture that you set aside before on top.

Step eight: Enjoy a healthy snack that your other half lovingly prepared for you.

Step nine: Flatten it all out as best you can with a spatula or the back of a spoon...

...and sprinkle some goodies on top!

We chose more chocolate chips, chocolate balls and marshmallows. (obviously)

Coor blimey!

Step ten: Refrigerate for two hours or until the chocolate has set. Eat and enjoy.

Moment on the lips... lifetime on the hips!
