Might've just nipped to the shop to get some ingredients for some scrummy Easter treats!

O.O.T.D. 07/04/12
I'm afraid I'm busting out the stripes again. Only a couple of pics though, because I'm not feeling too well today!
Got complimented on the pants and shoes by a stylish looking girl with pink hair and a bright green blazer on while I was out shopping in Next, so I felt pretty fashionable. ;) Haha. Small things!

Leather Jacket from a Carboot Sale - originally from River Island
Stripy Skinny jeans from Motel Rocks via Topshop
Studded Vectra Loafers from Topshop
Anyway, hope you're all feeling better than me today!
How do you like the new header? I'm wanting a new look but it all takes so long as I'm not really sure what I actually want the blog to look like!

Haul yet to be delivered!
Hi guys,
A quick naughty haul of a few things I've ordered recently.
Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel (or Bronze Universel) Bronzing Makeup Base
I've been wanting to get my hands on this for months and months and months but everywhere had been sold out. I randomly searched online today and managed to order one from Boots online. Yay!
Ray Ban RB3447 Round Metal Sunglasses
I picked mine in the Matte Gunmetal colour with crystal grey polarized mirror silver lenses. I ordered them in a size 50-21. I hope they look okay on and fit alright! Eek, this is the problem with ordering online. They may look awful! However I saw sototallyvlog on youtube wearing them and I think she looks awesome, so!
The Cambridge Satchel Company Classic Satchel
I ordered a CSC Classic Satchel in 14" Yellow for my up coming interview. I needed a bag that would fit A4 paper and notebooks inside and I'm hoping this one will be suitable. I wanted something that would suit my personality and would also spice up my outfit a little! Although I'm still struggling on what to wear! I cannot find any smart trousers that fit me right! Anyway, I absolutely love this colour and I'm so excited for it to be made for me!
Link me in the comments to your most recent hauls. I love looking at what people have been buying!
See you soon guys! x
Michael Kors Watch!
I'm so exciteeeeddddddd!
If you've been following my blog for a while then you will most likely've seen my silver DKNY watch in a number of outfit posts. I bought this watch for myself around 3 years ago as a reward for doing well in my exams and I absolutely loved it. I bought it from Goldsmiths Jewellers and was sure to take out the 3 year Stirling Care Insurance because I knew it would be likely that with daily use, some stones may come out.
I wore this watch pretty much every day for three years. The first time I took it back to get some lost stones replaced was a year ago and two stones had fallen out. The watch got sent off to the repair centre and 6 weeks later I received it back but only one of the two stones had been replaced. Fuming, I had it sent back again. A few weeks later it came back to me with both stones replaced, but with the bracelet damaged. I took it home anyway because I couldn't go without my watch for another few weeks. My dad had to fix it in the end.
Anyway, I wrote a complaint letter about the snotty customer service I received as well as the shoddy 'repair' centre. Nothing came of it.
I took the watch back a couple of weeks ago because another two stones had fallen out. The people that served me the first time recognised me and were nice as pie and made sure to send it off as 'Urgent' so I wouldn't have to wait 6 weeks again. Sure enough, to their word, a week later the watch was sent back to the shop and I received a sheepish phonecall saying it had come back but they had replaced the stones in the wrong colour. They said they would send it back again if I wanted or I could swap it for something to the same price that it was insured for.
They didn't have to tell me that twice. Even though it would cut off the rest of the insurance policy I had paid for (it only had one month left, anyway), I decided OBVIOUSLY to get a brand spanking new watch. FOR FREE. It worked out that I could swap my old watch for this one as well as 3 more years Stirling Care Insurance on this one for absolutely nothing. Hurray!
I think that for such a big company like Goldsmiths, it's absolutely unbelievable that they would have such a shoddy repair centre. It can't just be my watch that has been messed up like this, 4 times! Absolutely ridiculous! Anyway, I'm glad they offered me the chance to exchange it even though it is near on 3 years old.
Anyway, excited, I scoured the website and finally chose this little beauty by Michael Kors.
I absolutely love it. I wanted, originally another silver watch as I wear a lot of silver jewellery but finally decided on this Rose Gold number. I had to have about 5 links taken out, and I haven't quite worked out how to set it all up properly yet, but I'm very happy with it so far!
The details of this watch are as follows:
Michael Kors Ladies Watch with Copper Tone Chronograph Dial, Rose Gold Plated Case and Bracelet and Quartz Movement.
Style number: MK5128
Do you think I made the right choice? Have you had any similar problems with Goldsmiths or your jewellers?

Job Interview O.O.T.D?
I need your guys opinions! I have an assessment day for a retail management scheme in the coming months and I'm struggling on what to wear. I bought a shirt from Topshop the other week and absolutely love it, so would definitely like to wear it. I've put together this outfit and was wondering if you think it's appropriate for an interview, baring in mind that it's with one of the highstreet's biggest companies and I'm guessing that fashion consciousness will be pretty important.
Are leggings appropriate? The shirt does cover all the lady bits and bottom, so I think it's quite conservative. I struggle finding smart trousers that fit, so any suggestions on where sell well fitting pants would be appreciated!
Also, just ordered my new satchel! (Clearly shopping ban has gone completely out of the window!) But how exciting, a lovely yellow addition to my wardrobe. :)

O.O.T.D. 01/04/12
Hi my lovelies, just a quick outfit of the afternoon. I've been lazing around in my pyjamas most of today and have only just got up to go an meet my boyf from work. Not sure what the plans are yet but probably involves some yummy food and a quick wander in the sunshine.
Here's what I'm wearing!
Jumper from River Island sale.
Skinny jeans from Topshop (I think they're 'Leigh' jeans...)
Curled my hair and just put it up in a clip.
Clutch envelope bag is from Accessorize.
I decided to mix my metals today since my silver watch is in for repairs (boohoo!)
From L-R:
Beaded bracelet from BHS
Links of London Skull Bracelet
Beaded bracelet from Dorothy Perkins
Watch from Guess
Sam Ubhi studded bracelet from ASOS
Beaded bracelet from Dorothy Perkins
Pandora double wrap leather bracelet with Buddha charm
And my other wrist felt a bit bare so I put on my tiny skull bracelet by Iwona Ludyga for a bit of chunky/delicate contrast.
UD Naked 2 Pallette used on eyes and Revlon Nude Attitude lipstick on the lips with Revlon Peach Petal lipgloss over the top.
My nails are painted with inspiration from Danielle from A Blog From Blackpool.
See her Simple Spring Nail Art post HERE.
Finally my boots are a DIY project I did years ago. The boots are from Office originally but I bought them for cheaps off ebay and added the studs myself.
Hope you're all having a lovely, lazy Sunday!

Dani's Spring Nail Art!
Hi girls!
I recently saw Danielle (Ablogfromblackpool) post her cute Simple Spring Nail Art on her blog and thought it was lovely so I gave it a go!
Go visit her blog, she has loads of fab nail art tutorials as well as other interesting posts!
I simply used two coats of Barry M's Turquoise and dotted white and yellow to make the daisies with my cheapy ebay dotting tool. Easy peasy!
Happy Spring everyone!

March Favourites
Here's some of the products I've been enjoying this month!
Batiste Dry Shampoo with a hint of colour. Dark and deep brown. - I will definitely be repurchasing this product over the original Batiste dry shampoo purely because the hint of colour added is so amazing. Because I have dark hair, the original formula tended to make my hair look talcy and even more dirty, whereas this formula makes my hair full of volume and rids it of greasy roots. Love it!
Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in waterproof. - The only mascara that will hold a curl in my lashes. Pain in the arse to remove but absolutely great as a base for my Benefit Bad Gal Lash mascara.
Urban Decay Primer Potion in new packaging. - I ran out of my old primer potion recently and decided to re purchase in the new packaging. I absolutely love it. Same old, fantastic product in a fantastic new tube. No waste and no ugly, un-hygienic applicator. Brill.
Stella by Stella McCartney ADP. - Worn this perfume all month and loved it. Still wish I had my favourite Calvin Klein Euphoria but this one is a worthy second place favourite.
Aveeno Positively Radiant Triple Boost Serum. - Smells lovely, evens out skin tone, moisturises and hydrates.
Oilatum Natural Repair moisturiser. - A lovely moisturiser for after your cleansing routine and before your makeup. Not too oily and doesn't sit on your skin.
Samantha Chapman Real Techniques Buffing Brush and Powder Brush. - Not a lot I can say to praise these brushes enough. Absolutely brilliant!
