O.O.T.D 21/04/12 and small Topshop haul!

Hi guys! I went on a quick shopping trip today to find some new work pants - I FINALLY found some, but unfortunately from Primark so I'm not too hopeful for them lasting too long!
Anway, just a snapshot of what I wore and what else I picked up, aside from boring work pants!

Zara Safari Jacket with Leather Sleeves. AGAIN!
Black plain 3/4 sleeve jersey dress from H&M.
Black tights from Primark.
Zara Skull studded ballerina shoes.

And I managed to get my hands on this jacket that I've been eyeing up for months! I kept looking at it when it was full price but couldn't justify the £56 price tag so when I spotted the only one in my size hanging on the sale rail, I had to pick it up.

Topshop Cable Knit Sleeve Biker Jacket
Was £56,
Now £30.

I also grabbed myself another check shirt as the one I have already is getting a bit old and worn. I got this one for £15, it should have been £28.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend! Have you picked anything up from the Topshop Sale?

TAG: How much does my face cost?

Hi guys!

I saw this tag floating around youtube and was curious as to how much my face was worth!
Basically, this tag adds up how much your 'everyday makeup' costs you. I fear I may be sick when I get my calculator out! But here goes....
This is my every day, go-to makeup that I wear most of the time. You can definitely see by the state of some of the products that they are well loved! Sorry if some are a bit gross. I actually had to clean up my eyebrow powder because it was so vile due to me spraying fix+ on it every day, and it still looks awful! Anyway, on with it!

EYES

EYESHADOW PRIMER: Urban Decay Primer Potion Original: £14.50
EYESHADOW: Urban Decay Naked Palette: £36.00

Omg this is very bad already....

LIPS

LIPSTICK: Rimmel  Moisture Renew Lipstick in Nude Delight: £6.29

POWDER: Collection 2000 Shine Away Compact Powder: £4.19
BLUSH: Sleek Pomegranate: £4.50

Wow, that was a lot. I'm not sure I even want to add it all up to be honest but here goes....

£270.33
WHAT THE HELL!?!?!?

That is absolutely terrible.
The only way I can perhaps justify myself in any way is the fact that these products last a very, very long time. Can I justify it with that? I don't know. I will try. I've been using my Naked Palette for over a year pretty much every single day and I haven't even hit pan yet on any of the shadows. To be honest, all of the more expensive items I have had for a very long time and they are showing minimal signs of wear so I think they will last forever and ever....Perhaps I should just divide my total amount by the number of days in a year to see how much that makes it...

£0.74p per day.
That sounds a bit better, I can live with that.

Ushh! Also may I add (for my own benefit, and also my mother who may be reading this - YES YOU, MOTHER!) that a number of these items I have received as gifts for birthdays etc....just perhaps not most of them. I've also been buying my makeup collection for the past few years, I've not bought this all in one go!

Ughhhhh, I feel so guilty!

NO MORE MAKEUP FOR ME!
THAT'S IT!
END OF!
....
...
!!!!!!!

I TAG EVERYONE WHO READS THIS! Please do it so I can look and I won't feel so guilty!!!!!!!

O.O.T.D. 13/04/12 - A day at the gallery!

Hi guys,
This is what I wore for a day spent curating at my local gallery. I wanted to be comfortable so I opted for simple skinnies and tank top.

Furry pleather jacket from Topshop (I like to call it my gorilla jacket!)
White tank top from New Look
Black seven-eigths skinny jeans from Topshop
Bag Rocco by Alexander Wang

Thumb rings are vintage, inherited.
Double skull ring by Alexander McQueen
Finger tip rings from fashionology.nl
Nail polish is Nude Beige by Model's Own (Fave!)

Chuck Taylor Lo Converse in black.

Cross earring from Topshop
Feather earring from Dorothy Perkins

And just because they're new I decided to pop on my new Rayban RB 3447 round sunglasses. I love them!

Look what arrived as well! My order from Boots.com! YAY! Yet to try it out but I'm very excited to do my makeup tomorrow :)

Hope you all had an uneventful Friday the 13th! Did anything go wrong for anyone?! The day has been smooth sailing for me so far so fingers crossed nothing unlucky will happen between now and tomorrow!

Just chilling...

Sneaky peek at what I chose to wear for a comfy day curating at my local Art Gallery. Bit chilly, though!

How to: Rice Krispie Easter Treats

Happy Easter, everyone!
I made some little Easter treats that I'm going to share with my family and loved ones.
Thought I'd show you how to make them (not that a recipe is needed, as they're SO easy!)

What you need:
150grams ish of Rice Krispies (Cornflakes work well, too!)
200-250grams of chocolate (I used a mix of cheapo own brand chocolate and Cadbury's)
Decoration (Hundred's and Thousands, Smarties, Mini Eggs!)
-This makes 12-15 generous sized servings-

Melt your chocolate in a bowl.

Yum yum!

Add the Rice Krispies.

Mix, mix, mix!

Dish out into muffin cases.

Decorate!

Refrigerate for an hour or so, and Voila!

I made some mini, bitesized ones out of the remnants of the mixture, too!

Now I'm off to share the love and take some to the boyf at work!

Hope you enjoy your Easter Weekend!
