OOTD - Cambridge Satchel & Uggs - 15-12-12

Hi everyone,
FINALLY, I've had a day off work! I took the opportunity to have a little lie in and to run some last minute errands before Christmas comes around.

Today I wore my 'Fair Isle' christmassy snood from River Island, which I got last year.

My chunky knit sweater from Topshop.

I also wore my Topshop skinny jeans.

And for extra warmth, I put my River Island (carboot bargain!) leather jacket on over the top.

I decided to go for my Ugg boots today. I used to live in Uggs but recently I've come to realise that they are actually mega ugly. However, today I fancied having nice warm feet and they do the job better than any other boots I own...so love them or hate them, today I chose comfort over style! Haha!

I'm wearing my Michael Kors MK5128 Rose Gold watch. (blogpost coming on this soon)
My double wrap, leather Pandora bracelet with Buddha charm and Peace Sign Charm.
Silver rings are from Fashionology and my nailvarnish is lovely and chipped but is Nude Beige by Model's own.

I chose my blue 13" satchel by The Cambridge Satchel Company.
Hubba, hubba!

And that's it! I managed to get the last of my Christmas shopping done today. I also made a start on wrapping some bits so I'm feeling very festive at the moment. Not long to go!

Thanks to my recent new followers, I really appreciate you following my blog :)
Leave a comment if you like, I love reading them.

Ps. Loooook how long my hair is getting! So excited! Growing hair takes so long, gah!

Mini Lush Haul

I thought I'd show you what I purchased from Lush the other day. (My very first Lush purchases, ever!)

I picked up Snow Fairy Shower Gel, Feeling Younger Skin Tint and No Drought Dry Shampoo.

I've been wanting to try Snow Fairy for a year or so but as it's a limited edition product, I had to wait til now to get my hands on it. It kind of smells like those little foamy banana sweets. I've only used it once so far, but it smells pretty nice.

The second product I picked up is this dry shampoo called No Drought. I've seen a couple of people with this on youtube and really wanted to try it out. It has a very lemony scent and smells nice and fresh. Again, I've only used it once so will have to try it out for longer to see what I really think of it.

The third product I picked up was this Feeling Younger Skin Tint and I absolutely love this. As soon as I swatched it in the shop, I grabbed one for myself straight away. I've been using this as a highlight on my cheekbones over makeup and also mixed in with my foundation for a nice dewey finish to the skin.

Lavly! I was hoping to bump into Danielle from A Blog From Blackpool for some recommendations on what to get but you weren't working that day, boo!

What products are your favourites from Lush?

OOTD - Acne, Topshop and Cambridge Satchel Company

I went Christmas shopping to get some little bits for friends and family. Town was heaving, it was freezing and I was unsuccessful on deciding what to get for my besto.
Other than that, though, my trip was lovely as I got complimented on my new coat about three times by passing strangers - always nice! :)

Yellow Classic 14"Satchel from the Cambridge Satchel Company.

Studded bracelet by Sam Ubhi.

Double finger 'knuckle duster' ring from Urban Outfitters.

Hope you're doing well with your Christmas shopping. Are you all a bit more organised than me? I hope so!

My new toy!

So one of my New Year's Resolutions is to get back into reading. I've not read a book in what seems like forever and I really enjoy it so when I saw this offer, I couldn't pass it up.

The Kindle Wifi 6" E Ink Display for £59.

Go to THIS LINK and use this code at checkout: TDX-KJPW

I'm currently reading The Hunger Games, but I'm really needing some book suggestions. Let me know your favourite book so I can read it, too!

OOTD - Preston and Barton Grange

The other half and I went for a little trip to Preston yesterday. Here's what went down!

Zoom zoom!

We visited Barton Grange Garden Centre where I saw Santa!

And the world's most expensive Christmas trees...

This little baby was £15! I felt like Phoebe from Friends and wanted to take it home because it was so cute but not for that price!

If you're anywhere near Barton/Preston, I'd definitely recommend going to have a little wander round the Garden Centre. It has so many pretty things over Christmas.

We then went on to Preston for a little bit of Christmas shopping.

Didn't wanna go down that alley...

Teehee!

This is what I wore, anyway...

Tshirt from Topshop.
Trousers from Topshop.
Boots from Ash.

Bowler hat from River Island.
Coat with fur collar from Topshop.
Bag from Cambridge Satchel Company.

Then we got stuck in traffic and took some silly photos.

Then we put up our Christmas Trees. The end.

John Greed Pandora Competition!

 Hi guys!
I heard word of this fab competition the other day where you could get the chance to win your very own personalised Pandora bracelet worth up to £250 (or online vouchers up to the same value) from John Greed Jewellery.

Uh....AWESOME!

I could not pass up this amazing opportunity and so jumped at the chance to design my very own charm bracelet.

Ta'daaaa!

This is the little beauty I slaved over for literally a good few hours. I trawled the John Greed website numerous times, picking out loads of different charms that I liked but these cuties made the cut.

First of all, for the main bracelet I picked the number one best seller, SILVER BRACELET at £55.
As you've probably seen, I actually own the DOUBLE WRAP LEATHER BRACELET so I decided to pick the silver as I'd love to try something a little more luxurious.

Now on to the charms.

The first, no-doubt-about-it pick for me was this little baby - the SILVER LUCKY CAT at £30.

LOOK at her! I can't even. She's an absolute babe and I'm an absolute crazy cat lady. No word of a lie. Reminds me of when I went to China Town with my boyfriend and he sneakily bought me a lucky cat ornament which, to this day, sits waving at me from my bookshelf.

To keep kitty company, I decided to go with a charm that I've been eyeing up for months. This one is the ELEPHANT at £30, again.

I've loved this charm since I set my eyes on him but have never actually gone and bought one for myself. He's a little babe and I need him on my bracelet to remind me to not forget! Elephants never forget, but unfortunately I forget a lot...now, what was it I needed to remember?

So, I'm up to £115 of my £250 virtual budget - who's next...?

...this little lady - the BABUSHKA who is priced at £35.

Asdfghjkl! She's so adorable. I own several million Matryoshka (or Babushka Russian Dolls) and they're all dotted around my bedroom. I don't really know where the fascination comes from but I've built up quite a little collection and I think she'd fit in perfectly. What a little stunner.

Now, keep it hush but word on the street is that Babushka has a fancy man... I promised I wouldn't tell, but she's got the hots for Mr. VIKING. Wit woo! And he's only £30!

Of course, I couldn't take her away from John Greed without her other half, so this little charm-er is my next pick. Just LOOK at him with his little sword and helmet! Squeeeee!

Now my family is complete, I want something to keep them all together, so I chose two BLACK RHODIUM ANGULAR CLIPS at £35 each which will sit either side of the charms to keep them from separating.

Nothing cutesy about these. I was actually drawn to them because of how angular they are and how a simple, geometric shape clashes nicely with the intricate charms. I also love the colour of these, which is why I picked them over the simpler SILVER version.

So that's it... bang on £250 as well.

My perfect little bracelet. I hope you like it?

Good luck if you enter the competition!
And a massive thank you to John Greed Jewellery for the chance to win such an awesome prize.
Lots of love,
Neeny
