TAG: How much does my face cost?

Hi guys!

I saw this tag floating around youtube and was curious as to how much my face was worth!
Basically, this tag adds up how much your 'everyday makeup' costs you. I fear I may be sick when I get my calculator out! But here goes....
This is my every day, go-to makeup that I wear most of the time. You can definitely see by the state of some of the products that they are well loved! Sorry if some are a bit gross. I actually had to clean up my eyebrow powder because it was so vile due to me spraying fix+ on it every day, and it still looks awful! Anyway, on with it!

Wow, that was a lot. I'm not sure I even want to add it all up to be honest but here goes....

£270.33
WHAT THE HELL!?!?!?

That is absolutely terrible.
The only way I can perhaps justify myself in any way is the fact that these products last a very, very long time. Can I justify it with that? I don't know. I will try. I've been using my Naked Palette for over a year pretty much every single day and I haven't even hit pan yet on any of the shadows. To be honest, all of the more expensive items I have had for a very long time and they are showing minimal signs of wear so I think they will last forever and ever....Perhaps I should just divide my total amount by the number of days in a year to see how much that makes it...

£0.74p per day.
That sounds a bit better, I can live with that.

Ushh! Also may I add (for my own benefit, and also my mother who may be reading this - YES YOU, MOTHER!) that a number of these items I have received as gifts for birthdays etc....just perhaps not most of them. I've also been buying my makeup collection for the past few years, I've not bought this all in one go!

Ughhhhh, I feel so guilty!

NO MORE MAKEUP FOR ME!
THAT'S IT!
END OF!
....
...
!!!!!!!

I TAG EVERYONE WHO READS THIS! Please do it so I can look and I won't feel so guilty!!!!!!!

  4. I like that you worked out the price per day, 74p a day is like nothing ;) as you say the products do last a quite a long time, so it's justified!
