Hair Inspiration

Ot oh, it's got to that point where I'm craving lopping off my hair again.

At the moment I'm especially loving this blunt cut shoulder length style as seen on the beautiful Mira Duma and Sabrina Meijer.
Do I?

Nike Free Run+ 2 Wishlist

So I've been procrastinating. I don't want to tidy my room so I decided to have a bit of an online window shop. I found myself playing around on the Nike iD website and accidentally designed a pair of beautiful trainers that I now need in my life.
What do you think?

I know, I know...black and white everything, I can't help it.

Crossing my fingers that the Nike Fairies will magic them to me, just because.

Think I'll be wishing for a long time to come!

Must get some more stuff sold on ebay....

Ooooops!

Hummana!

So fun :)

What I got for Christmas!

Hi guys, I wanted to share with you a few bits I got for Christmas! I love reading these types of posts, so thought I'd do my own.

Firstly, look at this amazing blankie. My mum made it for me. Yes, she crocheted it with her own fair hands! How snuggly. :)

Next, as you saw in my last post, are these bad boys. They are the Dr Marten Spike boot and they're absolutely amazing. Painful, but amazing.

Another item you've seen already is this bag. I featured it in my last post, too.

From my boyfriend I got these babies. They're the Dr Martens Drench boot and they're actually wellington boots! So good for walking to work in when it's raining! These ones are much comfier than the Spikes.

From my boyfriend's mum I got the mini version of my favourite perfume. I recently repurchased the large size for myself because I adore the smell and I hadn't owned it for quite a while. The small version is ideal for putting in my handbag whilst the large bottle sits on my bedside table.

It's Euphoria by Calvin Klein. Go smell it if you haven't already...it's divine.

A little something for myself was this tin of lipsmackers. I am a lip balm obsessive and thought these would come in handy. I've not tried them all yet, but I love the Sprite.

From my friend I got the most awesome socks in the whole entire world... LOOK! Puddy tats!

For a couple of my friends I bought the new Naked palette by Urban Decay. It's called the NAKED BASICS and features six matte shades. I obviously had to pick one up for myself as the Naked palettes are my most favourite eyeshadows ever.

My lovely friend got me a Bronzer from MAC. The perfect gift because I'd literally JUST used up the last drops of my Nars Laguna bronzer and have been wanting to try this one out for absolutely ages. It's in the colour Matte Bronze.

From the same friend who got me the awesome socks, I also received an equally awesome scarf. SKULL EVERYTHING!!! She got both the scarf and socks from Topshop, if you're interested!

And finally, I got this gorgeous midi skirt from Topshop. I've been wanting something Galaxy print for evvver and saw this at my local Topshop on the 'Last Chance To Buy' rail. I've yet to wear it as I've been at work constantly, but I can't wait to. Not sure what to pair it with yet but I'll be sure to do an outfit post soon.

And that's everything pretty much, aside from a few bits and bobs and an enormous amount of chocolate and sweets.

So grateful for all of my gifts, thank you to you if you're reading this!

If you've done a post like this showing what you received for Christmas, leave a link in the comments. I'd love to have a sneaky peek!

John Greed Pandora Competition!

 Hi guys!
I heard word of this fab competition the other day where you could get the chance to win your very own personalised Pandora bracelet worth up to £250 (or online vouchers up to the same value) from John Greed Jewellery.

Uh....AWESOME!

I could not pass up this amazing opportunity and so jumped at the chance to design my very own charm bracelet.

Ta'daaaa!

This is the little beauty I slaved over for literally a good few hours. I trawled the John Greed website numerous times, picking out loads of different charms that I liked but these cuties made the cut.

First of all, for the main bracelet I picked the number one best seller, SILVER BRACELET at £55.
As you've probably seen, I actually own the DOUBLE WRAP LEATHER BRACELET so I decided to pick the silver as I'd love to try something a little more luxurious.

Now on to the charms.

The first, no-doubt-about-it pick for me was this little baby - the SILVER LUCKY CAT at £30.

LOOK at her! I can't even. She's an absolute babe and I'm an absolute crazy cat lady. No word of a lie. Reminds me of when I went to China Town with my boyfriend and he sneakily bought me a lucky cat ornament which, to this day, sits waving at me from my bookshelf.

To keep kitty company, I decided to go with a charm that I've been eyeing up for months. This one is the ELEPHANT at £30, again.

I've loved this charm since I set my eyes on him but have never actually gone and bought one for myself. He's a little babe and I need him on my bracelet to remind me to not forget! Elephants never forget, but unfortunately I forget a lot...now, what was it I needed to remember?

So, I'm up to £115 of my £250 virtual budget - who's next...?

...this little lady - the BABUSHKA who is priced at £35.

Asdfghjkl! She's so adorable. I own several million Matryoshka (or Babushka Russian Dolls) and they're all dotted around my bedroom. I don't really know where the fascination comes from but I've built up quite a little collection and I think she'd fit in perfectly. What a little stunner.

Now, keep it hush but word on the street is that Babushka has a fancy man... I promised I wouldn't tell, but she's got the hots for Mr. VIKING. Wit woo! And he's only £30!

Of course, I couldn't take her away from John Greed without her other half, so this little charm-er is my next pick. Just LOOK at him with his little sword and helmet! Squeeeee!

Now my family is complete, I want something to keep them all together, so I chose two BLACK RHODIUM ANGULAR CLIPS at £35 each which will sit either side of the charms to keep them from separating.

Nothing cutesy about these. I was actually drawn to them because of how angular they are and how a simple, geometric shape clashes nicely with the intricate charms. I also love the colour of these, which is why I picked them over the simpler SILVER version.

So that's it... bang on £250 as well.

My perfect little bracelet. I hope you like it?

Good luck if you enter the competition!
And a massive thank you to John Greed Jewellery for the chance to win such an awesome prize.
Lots of love,
Neeny

Wishlist: Maison Margiela for H&M

So, H&M have teamed up with Maison Margiela and their new collaboration hits stores tomorrow (15th November!)

I've put together a wishlist of the items I'd love if I had the chance.

Unfortunately this would set me back a small fortune (£839.92 to be exact!) but a girl can dream can't she!

You can see the whole collection HERE.

What do I wear to my Christmas Party HELP!?

So, I've been browsing around and saw this dress. I need your guys opinions!

It would be for a Christmas party with my work. I absolutely fell in love with the photo of it, but can't find any pictures of actual people wearing it.

Question of the night: Do you think it will make me look like a sparkly bin bag?

Ugh, I want it so bad.

A friend who's dressed in leather!

Lusting over countless leather / pleather pieces right now.
Decided to do some (rather luxury) window shopping.
*sigh*

1 . 2 . 3 . 4 . 5

Tshirt from Zara.
Pleather leggings from Zara. (need.)

And now going to have this song constantly in my head for the forseeable future.

Eep! Slap me on my wrist RIGHT NOW!

Happy (not yet my) Birthday to me! Love from me.

Such a sucker. I sell some bits and bobs on ebay and then accidently buy myself a new bag with the proceeds....EVERY TIME! Please tell me this happens to other people and not just me. I just can't help myself.

Anyway I will be saving this for my birthday...(maybe..) as to not make myself feel so guilty.

*Drumroll please*

Introducing my new "Eugene" bag by Alexander Wang in Feather Grey.
So exciteddddd!

Okay, okay, I know that a light bag for winter is probably not the best idea, but loooooook at it. I saw it and just fell in love. And my boyfriend approved, too, which is a feat in itself.

What do you guys think? I'm thinking of teaming it with simple all black outfits and maybe a big fluffy coat - when it's not raining, anyway!

Weeeee!

New Look Denim Competition #denimcomp with New Look & Sparkle!

Hi guys!
I'm doing a competition post today. I hope you'll all want to submit your own entries, too! It's a fantastic competition in association with New Look and a blog called Asteria Sparkle. You can find the blog post for the competition HERE.

Basically, you can be in with a chance of winning £200 and a pair of New Look jeans from their new amazing collection! How good is that!?

All you have to do is create an outfit for any occasion with items from the New Look store. I love doing things like this as it gives you a chance to go wild and fill your imaginary shopping basket with countless lovely things - and best of all it doesn't cost you anything but fills you with fun shopping-gy goodness!

(For full rules, see the link to Asteria Sparkle above.)

Without further a dooooooooooo....here's my entry! I hope you like what I chose.

So, I went a little crazy and didn't do just one outfit...I kind of made three by accident. I'm sorry, I'm sorry! Once I got started I couldn't stop myself.

I based my three outfits around the same pair of jeans - the Burgundy Supersoft Skinny Jeans at £19.99. These jeans are available in four colours: green, khaki, blue and of course, my favourite ones, burgundy. I've been wanting some deep reddish jeans for absolutely ages but haven't yet found ones that fit nicely and are the right shade and these ones look absolutely perfect - so what better piece to start with!

Outfit #1 is my ideal day-time casual style.

As it's coming up to Autumn/Fall soon I chose some weather appropriate gear with this lovely, chunky, White Geo Stitch Jumper at a very reasonable £22.99 (also available in black, perf!) and a Dark Red Knitted Mohair Snood at £7.99 (also available in a wide range of yummy colours!)

I enjoy using similar shades for each of my pieces to create an outfit which has a sense of unity. The cream of the jumper and white of the Chunky Sole Plimsolls (£12.99) give the outfit a great lighter look for the transition between summer and beginnings of autumn. We can't surrender our summer just yet, so I like that the lighter shades keep it from being too wintery, too soon! Where was our summer, by the way?

For my accessories, I chose an awesome Brown Leopard Print Backpack at £19.99. A slouchy backpack keeps any outfit looking young, casual and on trend - plus you can fit so much more in a backpack than a handbag, win-win. If the weather is a little inclement outside, which it most likely is if you come from the North West, then you could even switch up the shoes to their Animal Print counterpart (also £12.99 and just as awesome) to match the backpack. Sassy!

To finish the outfit off, I chose some girly Red Roses and Clear Beaded Bracelets (£7.99) which give the outfit a softer edge, combining pearls and burgundy flowers to be in-keeping with the autumnal colour scheme! Love it.

Complete outfit cost: £91.94

Next is outfit #2 which is what I like to call "Smasual" - in other words, smart-casual.

This could be something you might want to wear to cinema date with a potential new boyfriend? Or even just a nice evening meal or drinks with your galpals?

Again, we start out with our base, the Burgundy Supersoft Skinny Jeans at £19.99. Since I like the look of creams and whites with burgundy, I chose a simple White Racerback Lace Insert Vest which is an absolute steal at £5.00. This top is also available in black, chestnut and deep red - the chestnut and red would also look lovely with this outfit if you wanted to vamp it up a bit.

I like to be comfortable when I'm going out for a meal and even though I am partial to a pair (or twelve) of 6 inch killer heels, I thought it would be better to be able to walk if this were to be a "first date" situation, so I opted for some smart (and more importantly, comfortable!) Dark Red Slipper Shoes  at £15.99. You can get this style of slipper in leopard print, houndstooth and a beautiful dark green colour, too. Which I would totally wear with the Green Supersoft Skinnies by the way! ;)

To finish the outfit off, I added a pop of colour - all be it deep and dark in the form of this  Navy Blue Crepe Open Front Blazer (£24.99, available also in black, dark purple and burgundy) I also threw in some sparkle with this *drool* AMAZING Gold and Black Sequin Envelope Clutch at only £19.99 and a complimentary Diamante Spike Tip Necklace at £5.99. And there we are; chuck a lippy in the bag, and probably an umbrella, and we're set to go! No smooching in the back row! Okay, well, maybe a little...

Complete outfit cost: £91.95

Last but not least is Outfit #3! Perfect for a night out on the town.

Once more we start off with our beloved Burgundy Supersoft Skinny Jeans at £19.99. And once again - can you see a theme here? - I've stuck with a light top in the form of this gorgeous White Chiffon Sleeveless Shirt at £14.99. I LOVE this style of shirt and think it looks great with a statement necklace to give it some oomph, which is why I then moved on to accessories.

I saw this amaaazingly bad-ass Spike Cluster Necklace while I was browsing the jewellery section and I couldn't believe that it's only £7.99. These type of necklaces are going for at least double the price in other highstreet shops *ahem*Topshop*ahem*, so I thought this was an absolute steal. Plus, who doesn't want to feel at least a little bit bad-ass now and again. To really up the ante, I chose to pair it with this Gold and Silver Spike Bracelet at a very reasonable £8.99.

The final two pieces of this outfit are for only the brave. I wanted to add an explosion of colour and to be honest I never normally like to be too matchy-matchy with my bag and shoes, but when I saw these two together I couldn't help but put them in my outfit.

The shoes are a brilliant Cobalt Blue Platform Court Heel and come in at just £24.99 and I think they go really, really nicely with the deep burgundy colour of the jeans, suprisingly?!

The bag caught my eye immediately - I'm loving bright blues at the moment and thought, what the hell - I'll go all out!, so I chose this Chi Chi Blue Embellished Clutch (£14.99 available in loads of colours) which matches perfectly with the shoes and really finishes the outfit off, in my opinion.

I don't want to sound like your mother but maybe add a leather jacket if you're planning to be out all night, we don't want you catching a cold now, do we?!

Complete outfit cost: £91.94

I hope you like my entry for this competition. I really recommend you try it out yourself if you want to be in the running for winning some awesome prizes. I had so much fun putting this post together and would love to see everyone else's outfit choices!

Side note: I don't know how on earth I got each outfit to add up to pretty much the exact same price....?!!?

See you soon guys,
Love you!

Help! What colour should I get?

Hi everyone! I need your help. It's my birthday in a couple of  months and I've been perusing for birthday presents for myself, as you do. I think I want another Cambridge Satchel because I love the design and wear my others a lot, but I can't for the life of me choose a colour.

I've narrowed it down to 4 I think. Fluorescent Orange, Fluorescent Green, Fluorescent Yellow or Deep Red. PLEASE HELP ME!

(Edit: Just found a blue one, oh god!)

Which colour do you like the best?
