Instafashion: Fluffy Knit, Mom Jeans & Platform Sneakers.

I still haven't got the patience/lighting/energy to set up my camera for 'proper' outfit pictures. So again, here's a quicky instagram outfit post.

Sundays are the only real day I can dress how I want to - the rest of the time I have to wear work appropriate clothing. Today, though, I just wanted to be comfortable so I went for baggy jeans and a fluffy jumper, lovely!

I'm wearing:
Michael Kors Bedford cross-body bag
Primark fluffy cropped jumper
Topshop 'Mom' Jeans
ALDO Mara platform sneakers.
Larsson & Jennings Chain Metal watch
H&M, Fashionology & Alexander McQueen rings and Horseshoe Cuff from Hersey Silversmiths.

Sunday Craving: H&M, Proenza Schouler & Jeffrey Campbell

I don't know why I do this to myself. I seriously need to ban myself from online window shopping. Please could someone buy me these three items and I will be a happy chappy! Anyone..? No..?

The haul that was meant to be!

Hi guys, just a quick post to show you a couple of bits that I've picked up for myself. I've had a few days off work with the bf, and today he had to go back to work so I was on my own. And what do I do best? Shop, shop, shop!

It was sunny again so I wore my fluoro Cambridge Satchel.
Tshirt from Zara. Levis jeans.
Nike Free Run 2.

Same jewellery and nails as my previous post.

And here's what I picked up!
My new phone case arrived today and I love it, little pooch. :)

Now, this is called the haul that was meant to be because, simply, everything I went in for, I found...and most things I picked up were the last ones in the shop.

From H&M I grabbed this silver chain necklace and simple band rings.
I also bought a couple of packs of cross earrings from Primark, since they were only a pound.

I went into Primark especially for these sandals. I saw two pairs hanging on the bottom rail of all the other sandals, one was a size 8 and the others didn't have a size tag on...and this never happens to be but lo and behold they were in my size! Hurrayyy!

I'm also embracing the sports-luxe trend and saw a navy, red and white part mesh tshirt which I picked up originally, wishing dearly that it would be in plain black instead. Lo and behold AGAIN, I walk round the rack and find this little beauty...

I then went to have a cheeky peek in TKMaxx and saw these neon nail polishes. At £3.99 for four, I thought they were a bit of a bargain and since I've been looking for a fluoro yellow for yonks, I decided to give them a go.

I've also been wanting some Superga pumps for ages. Ideally I'd have a plain white/black pair, but I saw these in my size and grabbed them straight away. I'm still not sure if I can pull them off, so they may be going back, what do you think?

Hope you're all well!

Summer

Happy (couple of days of) Summer!

I spent the day walking with mum on Sunday and unfortunately got mega sunburn on my shoulders and back - wear sunscreen, girls!

Here's a couple of summery photos I took whilst in our local park.

OOTD WIWT - Fluoro Satchel and Nike Free Run - 14 April 2013

Here's what I wore today. Can't believe I stood in the pouring rain to take pictures before I went out. Dedication/stupidity, I'm not quite sure?

American Apparel Easy Jean

Dorothy Perkins Faux Leather Jacket

Warehouse Knit Snood
Topshop Knit Jumper

Cambridge Satchel Company Fluoro Yellow 13" Satchel

Nike iD Free Run 2 Trainers (oh my, SO comfortable!)

I nipped into town to try and find a birthday present for a friend. Unsuccessful on the present front, however, I walked past this little beauty in River Island and fell in love.

It comes up a little large if you want to wear it on your waist like I want to. I had to down a size to a size 6?!!? Never in this world am I a size 6, so I would definitely recommend trying on or sizing down if you decide to buy online.

Side note: How flattering are River Island mirrors? Or is it just me? I swear they have some distortion on them to make you look tall and skinny - and the lighting makes you look tanned as feuuuk. Maybe it's just my local one, but no other mirrors in town reflect the same image back to me as the River Island ones haha!

OOTD and Mini Topshop, TKMAXX and Boots haul!

Okay, so I decided to get up even though I felt like poop. (See last post where I said I wasn't going to take any outfit photos!)

Seriously not with it as I cut out my feet on all the pictures - so here's just one full length(ish) one.

Coat and shorts from Zara, tshirt and tights from Primark.

Shoes, New Balance 410 and Aldo bag from ASOS.

I had a wander in town and bumped into a friend so had a quick catch up with her for a while.

I was intending on taking back my crop top from Primark which I left in my car last time I tried to take it back... this time I remembered to take it with me, but forgot the card I paid on! Third time lucky maybe?!
Anyway, I popped into Topshop since it's pay day and picked up a couple of bits. I got this spotty shirt which I've been eyeing up for a while and I also got a grey jersey casual dress. Nothing much really in my local which caught my eye, which is unusual!

I also went into TKMaxx - as always - and picked up a little storage basket for my bedroom, as well as a big barrel round TRESemme hairbrush on clearance. I wanted to try out a 'proper' blowdry on my hair because I saw a video on youtube by Pixiwoo Madness showing you how to do it at home. I'll probably never have time to do it on a day to day basis, but worth a try!

Talking of Pixiwoo, I also picked up a couple more Samantha Chapman Real Techniques makeup brushes because they were on 3 for 2 at Boots. I got my hands on the last Expert Face Brush in the shop (woohoo!) and also picked up another Stippling Brush and Blush Brush.

Ahh, nice new makeup brushes! Now just to deep clean my old ones... CHORE!

Ohh, by the way, check out my Easter Bunny nails!! I tried out ISLAAY's design with some slightly different colours. Make sure you check out her blog for a tutorial, she does some really amazing nail designs.

That's all for now.
Happy Easter, everyone!

Primark Haul March 2013

I've done a little bit of shopping in Primark recently and thought I'd share with you a little post showing what I picked up.

I've not been into Primark for ages to properly look around, but after seeing a few recent Primark Hauls on youtube, I decided it was time to go and have a goosey.

I saw every one of these items on various youtube videos so went in with specific intentions on what I wanted to find.

First off I picked up these tshirts which I will definitely be going back to purchase more of. They are simple, baggy tshirts with the roll up sleeve detail. Very similar to those being sold in Topshop for around £12, but these babies were only £3.50 each. I bought one in black and one in white. I got one in a size 8 and one in a size 10 because I wasn't too sure which would fit better and I didn't have time to try anything on (dinner hour shopping ;)) They both fit nicely, however, when I go back I'm going to pick up a couple more size 10s as they are a little bit slouchier. They are also available in a bright blue and coral colour in my store. I wish they did grey...

Next I found this lace crop top which I plan on wearing with either my American Apparel disco pants or Easy Jeans. I haven't tried it together yet, but I don't want to be showing too much muffin and this top is relatively short. The nice thing about it is that it is fully lace on the back, but has a modesty layer in the front so your boobies aren't out all over the place. Again, similar tops being sold in Topshop for around £15, this one cost £4. I picked up a size 8 which fits nicely around the waist. It is also available in cream.

I then bagged these little polkadot beauties. They seemed to be in an odd section, with the tshirts and basic tops, next to some socks. I would've thought they would either be with the holiday or pyjama sections, but have a good look around your store because they have some really nice prints. I bought these for either hot summer days, holiday or lounging around the house in and I think they're awesome. They cost £4 which I thought was a bit pricey, but since they didn't have any other of the nice prints in my size and I didn't have the issue of choosing between designs, I thought I'd treat myself to a pair. I'd say they're true to size.

Next for some essentials.
I grabbed myself some more 100 Denier Opaque tights because they're a must have. They cost £2.50 per pair and last for ages.

I also picked up a couple of packs of socks. I needed some black ones for work...but all of my black socks seem to go missing (I'm looking at you, Mum!) so I needed to be able to distinguish who's socks are who's when they come out of the washing machine. I saw these 5 packs for £2.50 each which have little frills and bows on so I'll know if my mum or dad have been nicking them from now on!!

A couple of random buys were these two hair accessory packs. I picked up a black hair turban for when I get out of the shower and don't fancy walking round with a massive towel on my head. It was £1.50 and you just put it over your hair, twist and secure the elastic loop around the awful dimante at the nape of your neck.
I also grabbed a pack of hair clips at the till for £1 because I use these daily when blow drying/straightening my hair or applying makeup. They always seem to be eaten up by my bed monster or something because I had about twelve and now I have about 2.
For a pound you can't go wrong really. Don't wear them out of the house though because that's just not cool. ;)

Thennnnn, on my second trip back to Primark I got my hands on these beauties. I'd seen the clutch version on my previous shopping trip but wasn't all that enthused with it, but saw these two makeup bags near the tills and grabbed them. At £4 and £3 I thought I'd treat myself to a new set of makeup bags because they've got skulls on and are dead cool :)

As I mentioned, they also have a clutch version and also a couple of travel bags in this print also, but they looked a bit meh to me.

Loook at his little skully head!

And that's it! Hope you liked what I got. Have any of you done a Primark Haul recently? Any more goodies in there that I've missed?
Let me know :)

OOTD: 27/02/13

Sorrryyy I haven't posted in a week! I'm back with an outfit post from today, though. I will also be putting up a collective haul soon, which is very exciting :) Well, for me anyway!

The sun was shining today but it was still bitterly cold so I chose to wear my Cookie Monster coat. It's a love it or hate it kind of piece but it keeps me warm so I'm happy.

Faux fur coat - Topshop.
Black top - Topshop.

I'm still awaiting my remote for my camera, so for now I'm still using my phone as the remote, so just pretend I'm texting somebody exciting.

Easy Jeans from American Apparel.

Satchel from The Cambridge Satchel Company.

Jewellery from left to right:
Links of London, Michael Kors, Links of London, Pandora.

My nails matched my bag today. I'm wearing Barry M's Gelly nailpolish in Blueberry.

Studded slippers form Topshop.

Lipstick is Up The Amp by MAC and you can just see my necklace in the bottom picture, which I got from Topshop.

I hope you all had a lovely day.
See you soon!
